The Harriets hit the summer of 2020 with their first full-length album: HOPEFULS.
HOPEFULS sees the band riding high. On the strength of the single 'Cafe Disco' the band was shortlisted for Glastonbury Emerging Talent and Record Store Day Unsigned. Multiple radio plays on BBC 6 Music prompted a slot at a BBC Introducing Showcase, co-curated by DJ Tom Robinson. Now the band round up its highly accomplished songwriting into a nine-song collection of colourful, heart-swelling pop tunes.
The songs on HOPEFULS are of love, time, memory, escape and the places of people’s lives. Each track bottles the essence of the band’s uplifting and wholehearted live show, which was a first date sell-out in London and plans to tour the UK once current live music restrictions are lifted.
Mastered by Pete Maher (Lana Del Rey, Nick Cave), the album will be released on dazzling limited edition blue vinyl and major streaming platforms including Spotify.
‘I challenge you not to instantly fall in love with ‘Cafe Disco’ and The Harriets. This is a song to take you straight back to youth. A great live band too!’, Glastonbury ETC.
